Meaning
When something is ‘Fit for Purpose’ we mean it is «well equipped or well suited for its designated role or purpose.»
You can also be fit por purpose by being good at doing your job. There are many applications to this expression. You can use to refer to houses, lands, departments, training courses, projects, railway stations, soil, etc.
Something not fit for purpose. When something is no longer fulfilling its original intended purpose.
