When we describe a situation, err…, a project, an experience, that has been simple from the start to the finish, we say ‘it’s plain sailing».
Cuando describimos una situación, un proyecto, una experiencia, que ha sido bien de principio a fin, usamos ‘it’s plain sailing‘.
For example: «Since they fixed our software, the project has been plain sailing.»
Por ejemplo: «Desde que nos arreglaron el programa, el proyecto ha ido como la seda.«

Organising the trip was plain sailing.
